About the exhibition:
Canadian artists have been participating in the MTG International Print Triennial in Krakow for decades, while in recent years becoming one of the dominant creative forces in the field of experimental graphics. They skillfully combine a traditional workshop with bold use of the possibilities offered by various types of digital media.

Currently, graphic arts in all their manifestations function in the reality that constantly bombards the recipient with all kinds of printed and digital images. Graphically processed pictures are found everywhere – from the still published traditional newspapers, through prints on public transport, to screens and displays that surround us on a daily basis. Visual imagery became an essential part of our common language.

20 Canadian artists are confronting this aspect of the present. For the exhibition in Krakow they prepared works of a processual and prototype nature, which invite the viewer to an in-depth dialogue and intense interaction. Their aim is to explore the various possibilities of visual representation offered by the contemporary space of communication.
