The 11th Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières (BIECTR) will take place from June 16 to September 8 this year. The Musée d’art de Joliette is collaborating with this major printmaking exhibit by presenting, in Espace 3e, a selection of new prints by artists Bonnie Baxter (Canada), Jenny Robinson (United States), as well as Monika Brzegowska and Tomasz Winiarski (Poland). Exploring everything from silk-screen printing and mezzotint to woodcuts both handmade and laser-etched, the works in this exhibit reflect the great diversity of contemporary printmaking techniques showcased by the BIECTR.
