THE 2017 CHARLES-BIDDLE PRIZE AWARDED TO BONNIE BAXTER

“The Minister of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion, Mr. David Heurtel, and the President and CEO of Culture pour tous, Mme Louise Sicuro, presented the 2017 Charles Biddle Award to the artist today. In visual arts Bonnie Baxter, on the occasion of the launch of activities of the Quebec Week of Intercultural Encounters (SQRI).
The Charles-Biddle Award is presented in collaboration with Télé-Québec’s La Fabrique culturelle, which has launched a new video vignette dedicated to the laureate.
The two other finalists – Hada Lopez and Alejandra Odgers – received an official certificate of the MIDI. “
